Hey, I'm Sam. I spent more than 10 years photographing fashion brands like Barbour, celebrity families and Premier League footballers, then fell for weddings because they're real.

I shoot your day the way I'd shoot an editorial: the moments between the moments, then strong portraits. I guide rather than pose, so you stay relaxed and with your guests.

Film is at the heart of it. I shoot 35mm and medium format alongside digital, and I grade every photo by hand, never with a preset.

I'm based in the Cotswolds and I travel wherever you're getting married, from Sri Lanka to Morocco.

Good to know

Which collection is right for us?

I'd start with The Feature: more film, a bigger sneak peek and a couples session. If you want something lighter, The Story covers the full day. Tell me about your plans on the call and I'll point you to the right fit.

Is travel included?

In the UK, yes. For a wedding in the EU, add £1000: travel, accommodation and transport are all covered, with no hidden fees, and I arrive the day before. For weddings further afield, I'll quote it on the call.

Can we add more hours later?

Yes. Every collection starts with 11 hours on the day. An extra hour is £500, and you can add it anytime during the year.

What does a roll of film give us?

A roll is 10 to 36 frames, depending on the camera. More rolls means more of your day on film, with the colour and texture only film can bring.

How do we secure our date?

After our call, I send your quote. Your date is yours once you've signed the contract and paid the deposit.

When will we get our photos?

A sneak peek lands within 72 hours. Your full gallery follows once the film is back from the lab and every photo is graded. I'll give you the exact timing on the call.
